Ryan Cavanaugh (Charleston Southern) pitched four scoreless innings, leading the Philly Fightin' Quakers to a 3-0 victory over Rake on Monday night in Philly Select Collegiate Baseball action at Gwynedd Mercy University. 
 
Nick DiPalma's (Susquehanna) triple highlighted a two-run inning for the Fightin' Quakers, who added an insurance run in the third inning with a Luke Hardnock (Immaculata) single. Brooks Henderson (Lackawanna CC) also contributed with an RBI sacrifice fly in the second inning. 
 
Dillon Rooney took the loss for Rake, allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits over six innings. 
 
Matt Mays (Alvernia) earned a two-inning save for the Fightin' Quakers, striking out four without allowing a hit. The two teams will continue their three-game series on Tuesday. 
 
In other action, the Philly Bandits capitalized on several defensive errors by the Bucks County Ghost to secure a 7-4 win at Council Rock North High School. 
 
Robert Buckley led the Bandits with two hits, including a double, and an RBI. 
 
Ghost started strong with three consecutive singles, with Zack Bowman and Jalen Soberal each driving in a run. However, the Bandits responded in the second inning, scoring seven unanswered runs.
 
Ghost managed to add two more runs in the sixth inning. 
 
Aiden Myers (Chestnut Hill) walked to open the third inning and advanced on Buckley's single to center. Both later scored, giving the Bandits a two-run lead. 
 
Owen Wheeler (Maine) earned the win for the Bandits, allowing two runs on five hits over four innings. 
 
The Bandits improved to 2-0-1 on the season, making them the only team in the league with a winning record.
