West Chester
West Chester will again represent the Philadelphia region in the NCAA Division II Tournament when the club opens pod play against Charleston on Thursday at Millersville.

The Golden Rams (31-18) enter the tourney as the No. 5 team in the Atlantic Region. West Chester (31-18) joins Charleston (41-10) and host Millersville (40-8) in the three-team pod.

The other Atlantic Region pod will be hosted by the second-seeded Seton Hill Griffins. Fresh off a PSAC Tournament Championship, Seton Hill hosts Shippensburg in a first-round game. East Stroudsburg and Mercyhurst are the other two teams in that pod.

The winners of the two Atlantic Region pods will play a best-of-three Super Regional at the site of the highest remaining seed May 26-27. That winner will advance to the 2023 NCAA Division II National Championships in Cary, N.C.

West Chester won the Atlantic Regional last year as the No. 1 seed and advanced to the national championships in Cary, N.C. They were one of four teams left in Cary before falling to were eventual national champion North Greenville.
