Villanova hurler Tyler Arella
Tyler Arella was outstanding on the mound for Villanova, leading the Wildcats to an impressive 4-1 victory over No. 15 UConn on Saturday in Storrs, CT.

The left-handed graduate student tossed 7 1/3 innings while limiting the Huskies to one run on five hits. He walked a pair and whiffed four on 91 pitches. 

Danny Wilkinson also had a stellar week for the Wildcats, collecting two saves while tossing three scoreless innings with two hits allowed and eight strikeouts. He closed out the final 2/3 of the Liberty Bell Classic Championship against Delaware with back-to-back strikeouts on April 19 before closing out the last 1 2/3 inning in Saturday's win over UConn with four strikeouts and a pair of hits.

With their performances, Arella and Wilkinson are the Philadelphia Baseball Review D-I Pitchers of the Week.
