Smolen wins it for Arcadia
Ryan Smolen hit a walk-off single in the eighth inning to secure a 5-4 victory for No. 5 Arcadia and a doubleheader sweep of Stevens on Sunday. 

Hunter Curley opened the eighth with a double to left field. Justin Massielo followed with a single, and Connor Cheeseman was intentionally walked to load the bases. Smolen followed with a rip to right field to give the Knights the win. Massielo finished the contest 2-for-4 while Curley scored two runs. 

Curley led the charge for the Knights earlier in the day with three RBIs, lifting Arcadia to a 7-2 win in Game 1 of the doubleheader. Massielo collected two RBIs. 

The Knights are 11-1 in conference play and 24-4 overall. 

The club will be back in action against Elizabethtown on Tuesday.
