West Chester opened Game 1 of a doubleheader on Saturday with seven consecutive walks (including three hit batsmen). The Rams would score 10 runs in the top of the first, capitalized by a grand slam from shortstop Justin Horn en route to a 21-5 win over the College of St. Rose.

The Rams added another eight runs in the third frame, highlighted by a Horn triple that brought in two more runs.

The Devils scored first, but could not hold on. Justin Skinner picked up a double in the losing effort while John McCrane surrendered six runs - three earned - over five innings.

Saint Anselm 15, USciences 5
The Devils collected just three hits in the contest, relying on 10 walks to drive the offense. Jordan Stennett struggled in relief, surrendering nine runs - eight earned - over 2 1/3 innings of work.
