Ryan Howard linked to a doping ring in new documentary

Ryan Howard has been connected to an Indianapolis-based doping ring, according to an undercover investigation that was posted on HuffingtonPost.com on Saturday night.

 Ryan Howard has been linked to a doping ring in a report by Al Jazeera, released to The Huffington Post.

The Huffington Post cited a report called “The Dark Side” from Al Jazeera’s Investigative Unit. The televised report is scheduled to air on Sunday.

The report follows British hurdler Liam Collins, an undercover investigator who connects with Charlie Sly, a pharmacist who worked at the Indiana-based anti-aging clinic Guyer Institute in 2011.

Sly mentions Howard by name in the report, suggesting the first baseman was a recipient of  shipments of Human Growth Hormone.

Washington Nationals infielder Ryan Zimmerman is also implicated in the report.

Howard hit .229 with 23 home runs and a .720 OPS in 129 games with the Phillies in 2015.
