The storyline: The Phillies faltered in Colorado, but took three-of-four from the Dodgers and now hope to continue their winning ways against the worst team in baseball.

Game 2 - Cliff Lee (3-2, 3.09) vs. Bronson Arroyo (1-2, 9.50)
Game 3 - A.J. Burnett (0-1, 2.73) vs. Brandon McCarthy (0-6, 6.23)

Phillies notes: 11-11, 4th place in NL East ... Carlos Ruiz clobbered the Dodgers, going 7-for-14 in the series with six extra-base hits (4 2B, 3B, HR), six RBI, five runs and four walks ... Phillies starting pitchers have allowed three earned runs or less in 17 of their first 22 games this season (77%), including 13 of their last 15 (4/9-24) ... Since the beginning of the 2008 season, Philadelphia has gone 24-14 (.632) against the Diamondbacks ... Ben Revere is hitting .332 over his last 85 games dating back to last season ... The Phillies bullpen ranks second to last in MLB in ERA at 5.48 and is tied for last in MLB in HR/9 at 1.55.

Diamondbacks notes: 7-18, 5th place in NL West ... Miguel Montero, who owns a 6-game hitting streak, has hit safely in 11 of last 13 games (.341, 15-for-44) ... Paul Goldschmidt has hit safely in 6 straight games (.360, 9-for-25) ... The Diamondbacks rank last in the MLB in BB% at 6.1% ... Mark Trumbo was recently diagnosed with a third metatarsal stress fracture in his left foot and will miss the next six weeks ... Former Phillie Randy Wolf is pitching with the DBacks triple-A affiliate in Reno. Through three starts the 37-year-old is 2-1 with a 3.71 ERA.
