PBR - Greg Zebrack collected a career-high seven RBIs and finished a single shy of a cycle, leading Penn past Villanova 11-4 on Tuesday at Meiklejohn Stadium in an opening round contest of the Liberty Bell Classic.

The Quakers jumped ahead with three runs in the first inning and two in the second and never looked back, chasing Wildcats' starter Max Almonte after three innings.

Brandon Engelhardt and Austin Bossart each collected a pair of hits in the winning effort.

Trailing 7-0, Villanova put together a pair of runs in the fifth, but Penn answered back with three more runs in the bottom of the frame to ultimately put the game out of reach.

Tyler Sciacca finished 2-for-4 for the Wildcats, while Marlon Calbi collected a pair of RBIs.

The victory allows Penn to advance and face La Salle in the Liberty Classic next week with the winner moving on to the championship contest at Citizens Bank Park in mid-April.
