Levins and Corporan take home Player of the Week honors
Each Monday during the regular season, the Philadelphia Baseball Review will honor a Division-I Player and Pitcher of the Week. These honors are not based entirely on statistics, but rather the value delivered by a player throughout the week.

For the week ending on February 23, the Philadelphia Baseball Review recognizes La Salle sophomore Tatem Levins as Player of the Week and La Salle sophomore Manny Corporan as Pitcher of the Week.

Levins finished the weekend 5-for-12 (.416) for the Explorers in a three-game sweep of Hofstra. He hit a pair of doubles, walked three times, drove in five runs, and scored a run.

Corporan tossed seven scoreless innings on Sunday in a 2-0 win, surrendering just three hits on the afternoon. He walked three and picked up five strikeouts.

The Explorers swept Hofstra over the weekend, marking the program's first three-game series sweep since 2013 when the club swept Massachusetts.

Founded in 2006, the Philadelphia Baseball Review covers all aspects of baseball in the Philadelphia region.
