Penn Quakers win behind Christian Scafidi
Penn hurler Christian Scafidi tossed a complete game on Friday night, surrendering one unearned run on five hits at the Quakers beat Florida International, 4-1, at FIU Stadium in Miami.

Scafidi was dominant throughout, picking up 11 strikeouts on the evening while not issuing a walk

Offensively, Josh Hood and Eduardo Malinowski each picked up a pair of hits and drove in a run. Craig Larsen and Justin Carboni also contributed two hits each.

Villanova 8, Bucknell 2
Kimmy Kingsbury tossed seven strong innings, surrendering one earned run on six hits to help lift the Wildcats to a win. Ryan Toohers finished the night 3-for-5 with three RBIs while Chris Rotondo scored three times and collected a pair of hits.

Florida Gulf Coast 4, Saint Joseph's 3
Brendan Hueth drove in a pair of runs for the Hawks while Jake Artz chipped in with two hits. Jordan DiValerio gave up four runs over 5 2/3 innings and was saddled with the loss.

Wofford 4, La Salle 1
A three-run homer surrendered by starter Colin Scanlon in the fourth inflicted too much damage on the Explorers. Bubba Weigel and Alfonse Sadallah each collected a pair of hits in the loss.
