Healey and Rice win D2 Player of the Week honors from Philadelphia Baseball Review
Each Monday during the regular season, the Philadelphia Baseball Review will honor a Division-II Player and Pitcher of the Week. These honors are not based entirely on statistics, but rather the value delivered by a player throughout the week.

For the week ending on March 8, the Philadelphia Baseball Review recognizes Chestnut Hill junior Jared Healey as Player of the Week and West Chester junior Zach Rice as Pitcher of the Week.

Healey went 9-for-22 (.409) for the week while driving in four runs. He also doubled and swiped four bags while hitting safely in five of six games. On the year, he's hitting .333 with six RBIs and six stolen bases.

Rice tossed seven strong innings on Saturday to lead the Rams to a 5-3 win over Indiana. He surrendered three runs - though only one was earned - on seven hits. He walked one and notched seven strikeouts. For the year, he's 2-1 with a 1.74 ERA.

Founded in 2006, the Philadelphia Baseball Review covers all aspects of baseball in the Philadelphia region.
