Vince Velasquez tosses two scoreless innings
Ali Castillo scored the winning run in walk-off fashion on a Luke Williams single up the middle to lift the Phillies to an 8-7 win over the Orioles on Monday afternoon at Spectrum Field.

Castillo doubled in the final frame and scampered to third on Williams' hard-hit single that stayed in the infield. Orioles first baseman Taylor Davis threw to third base in an attempt to throw Castillo out after a wide turn, but the throw went up the line allowing Castillo to cross the plate.

Castillo finished the day 2-for-2 at the plate.

Williams, Logan Forsythe, Nick Maton, and Mikie Mahtook each homered in the winning effort.

Vince Velasquez tossed two scoreless innings, surrendering one hit while issuing one walk. He struck out one.

Scott Kingery was hitless on the afternoon, finishing 0-for-3 at the plate with one strikeout.

The Phillies will play a split-squad tomorrow with the Blue Jays in Clearwater and the Pirates in Brandenton.
