Austin Listi to represent Philadelphia in AFL Stars-Game
Outfielder Austin Listi will represent the Phillies in the Arizona Fall League All-Star Game on Saturday, and shortstop Arquimedes Gamboa could potentially be joining him.

Despite his placement on the roster, Listi has struggled through 12 games in the AFL hitting just .175 with a .267 on-base percentage. He's driven in three runs over 40 at-bats.

Gamboa will join Listi if he wins the Final 2 Vote, a gimmick similarly used by Major League Baseball to have fans select the final participants added to the All-Star rosters. Voting ends on Wednesday at 3 p.m. ET.

Gamboa is hitting .235 but is second on the club in walks with 10.

Of the two, it appears Gamboa has the higher ceiling. MLBPipeline.com ranks him as the 11th best prospect in the Phillies' system and likens him to a mix of J.P. Crawford and Scott Kingery. In 114 games with Single-A Clearwater, he hit .214 with two homers and 37 RBIs. The numbers don't show it yet, but scouts like his tools.

As for Listi, he put together an outstanding season split between Single-A and Double-A, hitting .312 over 123 games while hitting 18 homers and driving in 84. The Phillies selected him in the 17th round of the 2017 draft out of Dallas Baptist. He's unranked by MLBPipeline.com.
