Aaron Nola set to take the mound on Sunday
Aaron Nola will be on the mound Sunday as the Phillies and Cubs close out their three-game set at Citizens Bank Park.

The Phillies lost Saturday's contest, 7-1, as Zech Eflin failed to get out of the sixth after surrendering four runs on seven hits. Nick Williams picked up the Phillies lone RBI.

The loss, coupled with a Braves 5-1 victory over the Pirates, dropped the Phillies to three games off the pace in the NL East.

Nola enters Sunday with a 2.10 ERA and 0.97 WHIP over 27 starts. He's currently the only pitcher in the National League with an ERA of 2.10 or below with a sub-1.00 WHIP and sub-.200 opponents batting average. He's also allowed four hits or fewer in 16 of his 27 starts. Only two pitchers in baseball history have accomplished the same feat through 27 starts - Clayton Kershaw in 2009 and Nolan Ryan in 1972 and again in 1987.

The Cubs counter on Sunday afternoon with lefty Jon Lester who allowed three runs in six innings in his last outing this past Monday against the Mets. He has outstanding career figures against the Phillies, going 7-0 over nine starts with a 1.64 ERA. His numbers in Philadelphia are also outstanding, pitching to a 1.29 ERA over five starts at Citizens Bank Park.

Roster Update
Prior to Sunday's contest, the Phillies activated Justin Bour from the 10-day disabled list. Bour had been out of action since August 23 with a left oblique strain.
