Clay Buchholz makes his home debut tonight as the Phillies host the Mets in the middle game of a three-game series. Buchholz tossed five innings in his first start of the season last week in Cincinnati, surrendering four runs on eight hits in a no decision.

Tonight marks just the second time the 32-year-old will pitch in Citizens Bank Park - his only other outing came with the Red Sox on Opening Day in 2015 when he hurled seven scoreless innings and collected nine strikeouts.

The Mets counter tonight with righty Matt Harvey - 3-1 with a 2.13 ERA over six career starts at Citizens Bank Park.

Patience at the Plate
The Phillies enter play tonight leading the Majors with 4.13 pitches per plate appearance. A stark contrast to last year when the the club finished the season ranked 27th in baseball with 3.81 pitches per plate appearance. Also of note, the Phillies sit tied for fifth in the majors with 30 walks.
