Game 5: Nola makes his season debut as Phils aim to snap skid

Having faced a Cy Young Award winner on Friday in the home opener, the Phillies face the opposite on Saturday in Nationals' eteran righty Jeremy Guthrie. The appearance will actually be his first in the majors since 2015.

For the Phillies, Aaron Nola makes his first regular-season start since July 28, 2016 after being shelved with a low-grade UCL sprain and low-grade flexor pronator tendon strain in his elbow. The righty faced the Nats four times last year with mixed results, excelling in the first and fourth contest but stumbling in the two starts in between.

Phillies Lineup
Hernandez 4
Kendrick 7
Herrera 8
Franco 5
Saunders 9
Joseph 3
Rupp 2
Galvis 6
Nola 1

Oddsmakers have the Phillies listed as marginal favorites  (-118) with the over/under set at 8.5.
