CINCINNATI -  Aaron Nola is set to make his 2016 debut tonight when the Phillies and Reds resume their season opening series at Great American Ball Park.

Nola went 6-2 last season with a 3.59 ERA over 13 starts. He struggled at times this spring, but looked solid in his last outing against the Orioles on Saturday.

Nola will be opposed by lefty Brandon Finnegan.

Like Nola, Finnegan was a first-round selection the 2014 draft. Originally drafted by the Royals, he was sent to the Reds last summer and made a few starts down the stretch. He had a rough spring, surrendering 16 earned runs over 14 1/3 innings. He throws a sinker, slider, and change.

Veterans Ryan Howard and Carlos Ruiz are not in tonight's starting lineup.
