PHILADELPHIA - A.J. Burnett takes the mound on Sunday as the Phillies look to take two of three from the struggling Los Angeles Dodgers.

David Buchanan tossed five strong innings in his major league debut on Saturday, surrendering two runs on five hits as the Phillies bested the Dodgers, 5-3, at Citizens Bank Park.

Ben Revere went 4-for-4 out of the top spot in the order and led the Phillies offense accounting for more than half of the club's seven hits. He also scored three times and drove in a run.

"Felt good to get the bat on the ball," Revere said after Saturday's contest. "It's something to build on, for sure."

Revere finds himself batting in the top spot of the order again on Sunday as yesterday's performance pushed his batting average to .289 on the year.

Burnett enters Sunday with a 3-3 record to go along with a 3.32 ERA.  Opponents are hitting .238 off the right-hander with LHB's hitting .302 and RHB's hitting .200. Over four starts in the month of May he's carrying a 2-2 mark to go along with a 5.32 ERA.

The Dodgers counter on Sunday with right-hander Josh Beckett.

Beckett has surrendered two or fewer runs in five of his eight starts this season and has a 3.98 career ERA over 19 starts against the Phillies.

Asche Out: Cody Asche is out of Sunday's lineup for the Phillies and was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained hamstring. Reliever Justin De Fratus was recalled to the open spot on the Phillies roster.

Phillies Lineup: Revere 8, Rollins 6, Utley 4, Howard 3, Byrd 9, Brown 7, Nieves 2, Hernandez 65, Burnett 1.

Dodgers Lineup: Gordon 4, Crawford 7, Puig 9, Gonzalez 3, Ethier 8, Turner 5, Butera 2, Arruebarrena 6, Beckett 1.

Weekend Warriors: With yesterday's victory the Phillies improved to 12-3 when playing on Saturday's and Sunday's this season.
