Phillies Drop Fifth Straight

PBR- It has been a different story with the same ending for the Phillies, who dropped their fifth straight game tonight to the Dodgers by a final score of 6-5.

Kyle Kendrick went five and two-thirds innings, giving up five earned runs on four hits and five walks. The Dodgers jumped on Kendrick in the sixth inning with three two-out runs, taking the lead from the Phillies.

Shortstop Dee Gordon drove in two runs for Los Angeles on a bases loaded single, and first baseman James Loney collected two hits on the night.

For Los Angeles, starter Chris Capuano lasted only five innings, and gave up four earned runs.

Ty Wigginton had three hits and drove in two runs, and Jimmy Rollins scattered two hits to lead the Phillies.

The Phillies drop another game, putting their record at 28-30, while the Dodgers move to 36-21.

Cole Hamels will look to stop the Phillies' current skid against Aaron Harang tomorrow, as the Phillies end their series with the Dodgers tomorrow at 1:00 p.m..
