PBR - Hector Luna's three-run double highlighted a six-run sixth inning on Monday as the Phillies defeated the Yankees in Clearwater 9-3.

Phillies Pitching: Back from a right-elbow injury that cost him much of last season, Joe Blanton hurled two innings and surrendered a pair of hits while notching a strikeout ... Scott Elarton, who hasn't pitched in the majors since 2008, tossed two scoreless innings of his own without allowing a hit ... David Herndon gave up three hits in two scoreless innings.

Phillies Offense: Michael Martinez hit a two-run homer in his only at-bat of the day ... Jim Thome and Placido Polanco each finished 2-for-3 with Polanco picking up an RBI ... Jimmy Rollins collected a pair of hits in the win.

Let's Review: Carlos Ruiz was again left off the lineup card as Brian Schneider was given his first start of the spring. Charlie Manuel admits he's simply trying to give Ruiz some rest before ratcheting up his innings behind the plate ... Manuel said after Monday's contest that it may be another few days before Chase Utley sees his first action of the spring. Utley is still feeling discomfort in his chronically injured right knee.

On Deck: The Phillies will travel to Dunedin on Tuesday to face the Blue Jays at 1:05 p.m. Cliff Lee is expected to start, followed by Kyle Kendrick, Jeremy Horst, Michael Schwimer and J.C. Ramirez.
