Patrick Gordon is an award-winning
journalist and has covered baseball
in Philadelphia for the past decade.

His work has appeared in dozens of
publications, including Baseball
America, the Philadelphia Daily
News, the St. Pete Times, and
Sports Collectors Monthly.

A graduate of Temple University,
Patrick specializes in baseball history
and has written extensively about
nineteenth century baseball in
Philadelphia.

Patrick also has written about Negro
baseball in Philadelphia, with his
work routinely targeting Octavius
Catto and the Pythians, one of
the earliest black baseball clubs.
